Where each tool works
Every host that connects to Mnemoverse gets the same MCP tools, except where this page says otherwise. An exception is a tool one host does not get on purpose. Each one is listed below with its reason and the hosts where the tool works instead.
If a host shows fewer tools than this page lists, and the host's own settings do not hide them, that is not by design. Tell us at support@mnemoverse.com.
The hosts
- Local MCP server: the
@mnemoverse/mcp-memory-serverpackage, run by the client itself. Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Codex and other local MCP clients. - Remote connector: the hosted server at
https://mcp.mnemoverse.com/mcp, as it serves claude.ai and every other host that connects to it. ChatGPT connects to the same server but gets its own set of tools, in the next column. - ChatGPT: the same remote connector, added as a developer-mode app. A Custom GPT does not use these tools; it calls GPT Actions, a separate and smaller set listed on the ChatGPT page.

Not available on a host
vault_list in ChatGPT
- Host: ChatGPT, through the remote connector.
- Reason: Mnemoverse does not offer Vault tools in ChatGPT, where access credentials are restricted data.
- Where it works: other hosts, local and remote.
That is every host in the table above except ChatGPT: the local MCP server in Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Codex and other local clients, and the remote connector in claude.ai and the other hosts that connect to it.
The connector does not list vault_list to ChatGPT. If ChatGPT calls it anyway, the reply says the tool did not run, that nothing was read or changed, and that it is available on other hosts, with a link to this page.
Your Vault is not affected. The secrets you stored stay where they are, and vault_list from any other host lists them as before.
How this page is kept accurate
This page and the connector's server card state the same registry of which host lacks which tool and why. A daily check compares the two and flags any difference.
