Cookies Policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026
This Cookies Policy explains how Mnemoverse uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website at https://mnemoverse.com, including this documentation at https://mnemoverse.com/docs, and when you use the Mnemoverse console at https://console.mnemoverse.com, the Mnemo chat at https://chat.mnemoverse.com, or Sigma at https://sigma.mnemoverse.com.
Mnemoverse is operated by UINSIDE Inc., a Delaware corporation. Its registered office in Delaware is at 251 Little Falls Drive, Wilmington, DE 19808, USA, with Corporation Service Company as its registered agent.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They help websites remember your preferences, understand usage patterns, and improve performance.
2. Cookies and Similar Technologies We Use
- Essential cookies: Necessary for the basic operation, authentication, security, and session management in the Mnemoverse console, connected-account flows, the Mnemo chat window on the documentation pages, and Sigma. The chat starts a guest session only when you open it. Signing in to your Mnemoverse account in the console or the chat, or opening the chat as a guest, sets a session cookie that is valid on mnemoverse.com and its subdomains. The session ends 30 days after it was last renewed, and using it renews it at most once a day, as section 11.3 of the Privacy Policy says; a second cookie keeps a copy of it for five minutes, so pages do not have to look it up on every request.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics: The website, including these documentation pages, uses Cloudflare's cookie-free analytics beacon to measure aggregate page views and performance. It is not used for cross-site advertising.
- Security signals: Cloudflare may use short-lived cookies or similar signals to detect abuse, manage traffic, and protect the Services.
- Browser storage: The pages of mnemoverse.com outside the documentation set no cookies of their own and keep nothing in your browser's storage. The documentation pages set no cookies of their own either. They keep a few settings in your browser's local storage: your light or dark theme, whether site search shows its detailed list of results, the size of the Mnemo chat window if you resize it, and whether you accepted the analytics notice described in section 6. Site search also keeps the last text you searched for in that browser tab's session storage, so it is still there when you open search again; closing the tab clears it. When you open the Mnemo chat, it keeps a device identifier and your guest profile in the local storage of chat.mnemoverse.com.
- Campaign links: Links between the website, documentation and console can carry the original campaign tags, referring site origin, landing-page path and capture time in a
mnv_first_touchURL parameter. The handoff expires after one hour. It creates no cookie or browser identifier and does not include the referring page’s path or query. Copied links can carry these tags too. - Console: The console's account pages remember which theme to show (system, light or dark) in your browser's local storage and in a cookie that lasts one year. On the sign-in and sign-up pages, the console keeps the page that referred you and any campaign tags on the link you followed in that browser tab's session storage, for at most an hour, so they can be recorded with a newly created account after sign-in; section 1 of the Privacy Policy describes what is recorded. The account pages also keep unsaved edits in that tab's session storage until you save them; closing the tab clears it.
- Sigma: The Sigma site at sigma.mnemoverse.com sets one necessary cookie,
sigma_session, when you visit. It holds your session there and protects the site's forms against cross-site request forgery, and it expires at most eight hours after it is set. Forms on the site, such as the beta request, keep what you typed, and whether it was sent, in that browser tab's session storage, so reloading the page does not lose it; closing the tab clears it. If you arrive on the site through a link with campaign tags (srcor UTM parameters), it keeps those tags in that tab's session storage too, whether or not you use a form, and a beta request sent from that tab within an hour of that visit carries them; after the hour they are no longer used, and closing the tab clears them. Section 12.1 of the Privacy Policy describes what is recorded with the request. The theme you choose on the site is kept in its local storage.
3. Why We Use Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Ensure proper website functionality
- Measure aggregate site performance
- Authenticate users and protect accounts
- Remember your display settings
- Keep what you typed in a form until it is sent
4. Managing Cookies
You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- See which cookies are stored
- Block all or specific cookies
- Delete existing cookies
Clearing your browser's stored site data for mnemoverse.com, console.mnemoverse.com, chat.mnemoverse.com and sigma.mnemoverse.com also removes the local-storage and session-storage entries described in section 2.
Note: Disabling essential cookies may affect the functionality of our site.
5. Third-Party Services
Cloudflare provides website delivery, security, and cookie-free web analytics. Authentication providers such as Google or GitHub may set their own cookies when you choose to sign in through them, under their respective privacy policies. Some articles embed a YouTube video: nothing loads from YouTube until you press play, and the player then runs from youtube-nocookie.com, where YouTube may set its own cookies or similar storage under Google's privacy policy.
6. Consent
We currently do not use advertising cookies. Until you accept it, the documentation pages show a short notice that they use analytics; the notice closes by itself after ten seconds. If you choose Accept, that answer is stored in your browser's local storage. No analytics service other than Cloudflare's cookie-free beacon is switched on today, so accepting does not turn anything else on. If we introduce non-essential cookies that require consent, we will ask before setting them and provide a way to withdraw that consent.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
